I've finally drawn her again, after years and years and years. Jade is my first rp character. (Well, my first 'serious' one, not a 'character made for a one night game' situation.)

I made her back when I was 13 for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rpg system (so yes, I made her over 20 years ago now).

Jade (named for her green eyes) was a genetically created mutant animal for an underground society of assassins. She never knew why she was created (along with other animals, such as a rat, alligator, porcupine, etc) or even how they had the advanced technology back in the 70s, but in her early teens came to realise that she couldn't live with what she was being raised to become (ie. a psionic killer), so she escaped at the age of 14.

Tons of adventures later that game eventually fizzled to an ending, and I didn't rp Jade again. (rped her for around 4 years in the first rp campain that I ever ran.) About a decade ago I started up an rp in that setting for my husband, and Jade was revived (and re-created) for a short time, only for that game to fizzle for a time as well. Recently it's picked up again, and Jade (once again) has been brought back. ^^

It's an odd sensation to rp a character that you haven't played in years. It's even stranger when the character has gone from your character when you ran the games, to being played when somebody else runs the game.
